My recent trip to Florida was with my bestie Barbara. This trip was planned to meet our business partner and our very good friend, Aleks and attend a beauty event in Miami where my company was a sponsor. So, we both were quite excited to explore the region and enjoy a good time ahead. After seeing all the beauty what Florida has to offer I thought I will share here some places worth to visit. And I must say Florida region has best beaches in the world.
The turquoise water, mesmerizing sunrises & sunsets, powdery white sands, and hard-packed seashells, Florida beaches have so much to offer. If you miss visiting beaches in Florida, your trip is incomplete.
Although we had many places on our list to visit in Florida, beaches should be a top priority.
We were so happy that we could stay in Alex beautiful house in beautiful Sarasota. She showed us some of the best beaches like Miami Beach, Sanibel Beach, Naples beach, Bradenton Beach, Anna Maria beach, Siesta beach and more. Among these, Bradenton Beach, Siesta Beach and Anna Maria beach are my favourites.
I will start from my favourite beach – Anna Maria which is a perfect place if you want to chill on a beach with your kids. Here you can take pleasure in kayaking at Robinson Preserve and visit Perico Preserve for birdwatching.
Bradenton Beach is a perfect beach for boat enthusiasts, beachgoers, and nature lovers. For Barbara and me, it was an ultimate treat to eyes and mind. The calm ocean and sunset are the most beautiful serenity place to be after a long hectic day. Just sit back and watch the magnificent sunset or walk barefoot on the sand.
Living with Aleks we were lucky to have Siesta Key beach on our doorstep.
Sarasota is boasting a string of eight stunning islands located into the Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida, it is a year-round vacation destination. From upscale shops to powder-white beaches to restaurants, the city offers an abundance of cultural and sporting events. The best places to visit in Sarasota are Marie Selby Botanical Garden, Siesta Key Beach, Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, etc
Lido Key is another beach with plenty of restaurants and activities.
Also don’t miss to visit pink flamingos in Sarasota Jungle Gardens.
Sarasota Bayfront hotels have amazing views for the town.
We also visited The Ringling -fine art museum located on Bay Shore Road and one of the top Sarasota attractions. Established in 1927 from the artwork donated by Mable and John Ringling, it was designated as the state art museum of Florida and is maintained by Florida State University.
The museum contains works by Bernini, Boudin, Duchamp, Gainsborough, Poussin, Velaquez, and more. Its collection of Rubens paintings is world-renowned.
Another place which we briefly seen was Tampa. Although Tampa is not known for beaches, it doesn’t mean that it has nothing to offer. You can find some fantastic shorelines, including Honeymoon Island State Park, Clearwater Beach, and Treasure Island.
And of course let’s not forget about beautiful Miami, busing with tourists, bars, beautiful beaches.
There is plenty to see the Sunshine State, with more than 8,000 miles of shoreline.
I enjoyed every bit and can’t wait to be back.
Love & Shine always
